ADVISORY OF SALAMANDER ON DISPOSAL OF EXISTING TROPHY RETAIL LEASE – ADVISORY OF KERING ON OFF MARKET ACQUISITION OF LANDMARK FLAGSHIP STORE FOR THEIR LUXURY BRANDDURING – BROKERAGE OF ALL RELATED AGREEMENTS

During a 11 months’ negotiation we procured this landmark transaction for what is arguably one of the most desirable flagship store location for luxury brands in Vienna. Our direct reach and access, developed since 2004, enabled us to advise the existing tenant on and to identify the requirements allowing a transaction. In a discreet off-market operation we advised KERING for one of their luxury brands and procured the transaction by brokering the termination of the existing lease in favour of a new lease granted by institutional property owner UNIQA for a luxury brand belonging to the world’s 2nd biggest luxury brands’ conglomerate KERING.

We are extremely proud to have enabled our precious client KERING to succeed in this truly once in a lifetime transaction in the most important capital to the middle and Eastern European markets whilst having helped existing tenant Salamander to achieve its objectives as well as having helped institutional property owner UNIQA, the largest Austrian insurance group, to perfectionize its prime retail trophy asset with this transaction.

In 2017 we successfully procured the transaction for adjacent luxury brand TOD’S in the same property.
